As the founder and Lead Consultant of sase Consulting, my journey has been shaped by a deep-rooted passion for safeguarding. With over a decade of hands-on experience in frontline and strategic roles within local authorities, specialised provisions, and the education sector, I've worn various hats, including Social Worker, Analyst, Designated Safeguarding Lead, Senior Practitioner, Practice Educator, and Head of Safeguarding.

My commitment to safeguarding extends beyond my formal qualifications in Social Work (BA and PQSW), Safeguarding, Education (MA), and Business. It's fuelled by a genuine desire to see improved safeguarding and social work practice, so that children, clients and service users can benefit from purposeful holistic support. Having repeatedly heard stories of professionals feeling overwhelmed or unsure about advancing safeguarding within their settings, I founded sase with the aim of offering comprehensive support and helping to weave the golden thread of safeguarding into organisations nationwide.
